Premise
Meditate Fate started off as a means for my friends and I to play with our new
snazzy Panasonic DVX 100. It was a good way for us to test out all of the features
(which are many) that this camera contains. Since my friend Bobby is an instructor
at a martial arts school, he has access to lots of nifty household items like nunchukas(sp?)
and Kendo outfits. We looked at the stuff available to us
and came up with a quirky
little martial arts short about a zen-like master who stands in the way of challengers
looking to "prove" themselves.
Being Korean-American (sorta like a potato chip with MSG), my household already
has a spice of the Asian variety so we
found it feasible
this zen-like dude would be chilling
in his crib waiting for what would appear to be the common challenger. The choreography
wasn't anything spectacular, but people seemed to enjoy it. I entered it in a small little
competition Wrigley Video held and some people voted it as one of their favorites.

how we were able to achieve certain effects.
